History of dendropark
The Dendropark is a versatile leisure spot, established in the 1970s with the planting of various and even rare tree species, led by the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
Around the same time the Dendropark was established, it was also adopted by skiers. The Dendropark’s ski trails were created under the guidance of Estonia’s most famous trail master, Arvo Kütt. By now, skis and skiers have become much faster, which has led to an update in the ski trail profiles. The 1–5 km long ski trails in Dendropark are recognized for their good profile, making them suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. In summer, the trails are used for running or walking. In 2013, a disc golf park was built in Dendropark and quickly became a popular place for leisure and practicing the sport.
