The skatepark, created in 2005, features an outdoor area for skateboarding, BMX, and rollerblading. Renovated skatepark was opened in August 2024.
The park serves as a training and gathering place for many children and young people from early spring to late autumn.
In the back corner of the skatepark, there is an opportunity for beginners to practice skateboarding basics.
In July 2023, the plywood skatepark was demolished for safety reasons.
With funding from the city of Tartu, a new, largest concrete skatepark in the Baltic States was completed in August 2024.
